Visual Arts Center
Where Ideas Intersect. The VAC is a vibrant collaboration and exhibition space located in the Fine Arts Building on the University of Texas campus. The "anti-museum" facility is a gathering place for emerging artists, faculty, and students to create, explore and evolve art.

I lead my 4-person team on this branding exercise. We pitched three original logo concepts along with presentation comps. Ultimately, our favorite concept was selected.

The new mark uses 2 intersecting planes to represent the convergence of the gallery spaces and communities. Process cyan and magenta inks were selected to illustrate how the foundational art components of the college merge with the progressive exhibitions.
