Illustration, Shirt Design • 2015
I was honored to create a new shirt design for InVision as they launched their brand new marketplace, where it's available for sale today!
I wrote about my design process over on the Creative Market blog if you're interested in a behind-the-scenes look of this shirt's creation. I started by sketching out six concepts, so in full disclosure, here are my original rough thumbnail sketches.
The first concept that I pitched was selected. It combined a Rube Goldberg Machine, the word DESIGN, and creative tools. I refined the details from my thumbnail sketch into a full preview of the artwork that I intended to produce.
As I started building the vector illustration, I shared some of my early progress on Dribbble.
After the art was complete, we explored shirt and ink colors until we settled on our final approach — a teal and purple palette. Enjoy! (Photos courtesy of InVision)
